Ms. Horton has 25 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner working in a variety of settings and locations. Experience includes Primary Care, Cardiology, Emergency Department, and Traumatic Injury Rehab.
She is a retired member of the United States Army. She started her service as a lower enlisted individual and was able to achieve the rank of Field Grade Officer at the time of her separation.
Education was completed in Upstate New York at the State University. Highest degree achieved was MSN with NP accreditation. She currently has National Accreditation for Adult Nurse Practitioner.
While in school, she received multiple awards for academic excellence.
In her spare time she enjoys swimming, gardening, cooking and has an intense love for animals.
